Taking inspiration from the ancient city of Balkh, the birthplace of the Sufi poet Rumi, Noqra’s artisans have handcrafted pieces that reflect Afghanistan’s history, culture and spiritual traditions.
The Rumi collection utilizes pure Afghan materials; turquoise, silver and lapis lazuli to represent the timeless wisdom reflected in Rumi’s poetry and the raw beauty and power of the land from which those teachings emerged. The collection is hand engraved using traditional tools and stone settings.
