It was a pleasure to introduce Noqra to the First Lady of Afghanistan and HE Adela Raaz Deputy foreign Minister of Afghanistan for Economic Cooperation on their visit to London.
The First Lady visited UK to address achievements and challenges of Afghan women. She said that Afghan women have proven to be effective decision makers. They have courage and determination, paving the way for a more balanced society. She highlighted significance of woman-owned businesses like Noqra and appreciated Noqra’s achievements and success.
HE Deputy Minister emphasised the importance of continuing women’s economic empowerment initiatives and promotion of private investment in Afghanistan. She expressed her full support to Afghan entrepreneurs who take active part in Afghanistan’s economy and present a positive and influential image of Afghan women and entrepreneurs.
